Desuperheaters for fertilizer plants

Fertilizer is generated through a steam reforming process of hydrocarbons. In this reforming process, hydrocarbons are exposed to high temperatures over a catalyst to produce a chemical reaction. The best-known macronutrients that are produced like this are Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K). Kiekens Desuperheaters play a key role in this process, and can be found in steam boiler systems that produce and condition tons of steam per hour.
